WYDWiki provides tools for collaborative genealogy. Members agree to respect evidence, privacy, copyright and other contributors.
Accuracy and conduct
Contributors should make a reasonable effort to add accurate information, distinguish evidence from uncertainty, and correct material when stronger evidence becomes available. Members must not deliberately add misleading, abusive or unlawful content.
Privacy
Do not publish sensitive personal information about living people without a lawful basis and appropriate permission. Project and system privacy rules must not be bypassed.
Copyright and permissions
Upload only content you own, have permission to use, or are otherwise entitled to preserve and display. Attribution and source information should be retained wherever possible.
Collaborative editing
Genealogy projects are shared research spaces. Members should discuss significant disputes, avoid destructive editing and respect the scope of each project.
Availability
The service may change as features, security requirements and hosting arrangements evolve. Access may be restricted where necessary to protect the platform or its users.
